In the nineteenth century, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sidon was transferred to the outskirts of ancient Sidon. What distinguishes this archdiocese is that it is famous for its distinctive style and the largest, a piece of mosaic in the Middle East and with it, inside the church and it is worth mentioning that its distinctive letter dates back to the sixth letter. On the upper floor of the Diocese there is a bedroom and belongings belonging to Father Bechara Abu Murad. A promotion that is sponsored in the church that contains a house for the corresponding metropolitan with its roofs that contain icons from the Old and New Testaments from the Holy Bible.

في القرن التاسع عشر تم مطرانية صيدا للروم الكاثوليك إلى خارج صيدا القديمة. ما يميز هذه المطرانية انها مشهورة بطرازها المميز وبأكبر ، قطعة من الفسيفساء في الشرق الأوسط ومعه ، داخل الكنيسة والجدير بالذكر تعود تعود بتاريخها الحرف المميز إلى الحرف السادس. في الطابق العلوي للمطرانية يوجد فرفة نوم وممتلكات تعود إلى الأب بشارة ابو مراد. ترقيّة ترعاها في الكنيسة تحتوي على بيت للمطران الموافق بسقوفه التي تحتوي على ايقونات من العهد القديم والجديد من الانجيل المقدس.
