President Riad El Solh Museum was previously the residence of the late independence man, Riad El Solh, before he became Prime Minister of Lebanon. The palace is very historical and was built in the nineteenth century, and the most distinguishing feature of this palace is its traditional Lebanese architecture with its two floors, its white facade, and its red tiled roof. This palace was purchased by the state, which was rehabilitated by the Al-Waleed Bin Talal Charitable Foundation, and turned into a museum.
