Description - وصف
The baths in ancient Sidon, which are characterized by their domes inlaid with stained glass, have been transformed into heritage landmarks that attract few bathers and many tourists.
Hammam al-Ward is located in the middle of the old city of Sidon. This bathroom is distinguished by its erect brick chimney and vaulted convex stained-glass domes. It is one of the oldest of the seven ancient baths that used to visit Sidon when the city was part of the Ottoman Empire and was affected by its culture and customs.
The rose bath is an engineering masterpiece, starting from its square bottom shape to the circular top that ends with the domes, in addition to the natural lighting in it as sunlight filters through its colored glass openings at the top of the domes.
