The hotel itself is reputed to be a thousand years old and is made of stone. It is really quaint and decorated in local decor – beautiful really.
The facilities are very adequate – western toilets, hot water showers, comfortable beds, etc with a restaurant on the top floor (second floor). Downstairs is the main shore front road and several restaurants – a little noisy at night, but very quaint.
Breakfast, which is served in the restaurant on the top floor, is included and consists of local flatbread, fried hamoumi cheese, labneh (yoghurt-cream cheese), mish-mish (jam – probably apricot), olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers. It is the same every day and served with sweet black tea. The views from the upstairs restaurant are really quite lovely!
