In the nineteenth century, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sidon was transferred to the outskirts of ancient Sidon. What distinguishes this archdiocese is that it is famous for its distinctive style and the largest, a piece of mosaic in the Middle East and with it, inside the church and it is worth mentioning that its distinctive letter dates back to the sixth letter.
