Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Park is a public park located in the city of Sidon, near Al-Makassed Islamic High School and the Grand Al-Omari Mosque, opposite the old port of the city, which was opened by the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Works. This garden demonstrates the brotherly bonding and love between the sisterly Arab Emirates and Lebanon, which was and still is the best brother in all circumstances and challenges. This park is considered an outlet for all the sons of Sidon, especially the sons and children of old Sidon, where they come to spend the most beautiful time and entertain themselves. This park consists of large areas filled with green plants, flowers and densely leafy trees, in addition to paths designated for walking and cycling, and a children's area with a number of swings, slides and other recreational games. The beautiful thing is that the garden offers multiple seating areas and seats, and wooden benches are distributed throughout the garden, where parents can sit and take a rest and breathe the cool sea breezes in the shadow of this clean place while their children play in the swings and games.
