Description - وصف
The Engineer Mohammed Al-Saudi Garden is located on the Mediterranean coast on the outskirts of Sidon. It was established in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under the auspices of the Sidon Municipality and headed by Engineer Mohammed Al-Saudi in 2016. What is remarkable is that they took advantage of the space and established this garden in the place of the mountain of waste in Sidon, and here the Sidonian dream came true.
ridding them and their city of an environmental catastrophe that has lasted for far too many years. The garden area is about 35,000 square meters full of green spaces, trees and roses. It contains more than 180 trees, including 3 perennial olive trees, each of which is more than 180 years old. What is interesting about the topic is that there are 10,452 seedlings, plants and roses, and this number is equivalent to the area of Lebanon. There are also paved paths, installations consisting of a bridge, amphitheater, and a Roman-style theater with wooden seats and canopies for seating, a lighting system, and playgrounds equipped for children. Various bodies, associations and institutions also organize recreational activities and group trips to the park.
