Description - وصف
Bahr al-Eid in Sidon is one of the Sidonian places that still retains the memories of the people of the beautiful city since the generation of their ancestors to this day. Bahr al-Eid is located in the nearby square of Khan al-Afranj, opposite the port of fishermen and their boats, where swings and games are set up, and the place is teeming with children, sellers of beans, lupine and cotton candy, in addition to the famous Sidonian ice cream. Thanks to the Sidon Observatory for Social Impact and under the supervision of the municipality and in cooperation with “Di-lab” at the American University of Beirut, the Eid sea was renewed by paving the square to get rid of dust, and erecting hammocks in its middle and at its edges. This square extends over an area of 3,500 meters from Khan al-Afrang in the north to the headquarters of the Fishermen's Syndicate in the south.
